Overview
This project involved capturing a detailed handheld LiDAR scan along a walkable outdoor route to evaluate mobile scanning performance in an open environment. The workflow emphasized efficient field collection techniques, scanner operation best practices, and maintaining data continuity across varied terrain and conditions. The final deliverable includes a detailed point cloud of the route along with a discussion of key lessons learned related to scan quality, tracking stability, environmental challenges, and overall field workflow optimization.
